Hotel Agreement

The 4.7 acres that the George Tate group is purchasing from Bethel Assembly on M Street has made an agreement with a major hotel chain to build on that land.

Bethel Assembly of God has a contract agreement with the George Tate Group from New Jersey to purchase the remaining land on M street in Tulare to build a Hotel.

Community Center - building plans

Central Valley productions, a non-profit organization, will be embarking on a large gift for the city of Tulare.  Their plans are to build a 19,000 square foot community center that will be located on Retherford, just south of Cartmill.  The community center will include a full sized high school gymnasium, a thrift store, a food bank distribution center, meeting room, and counseling offices.  It is hoped that ground breaking will begin in the fall of 2011.

Central Valley Productions - Community Center

Central Valley Productions, a not for profit organization, has entered into a contract agreement to purchase 2 acres from Bethel Assembly of God.  The 2 acres is located along Retherford, just south of Cartmill.  Their plans are to build a 19,000 square foot community center.

Final parcel map filed to end 2010

 On the last possible day of the year our parcel map was completed and filed.   This will allow us to get appraisals on the land, complete the financing for the project and hopefully start construction on the first building by late spring.  Getting this done so quickly was a sign of God's favor.  We end the year with so much to be thankful for as our project moves forward.

Geotech Study

This week you may see a drilling rig and a small team out on our new land.  They are performing a geo-tech study by taking soil samples from various locations on the land. 
 




Planning Commission Approval

The Parcel Map Committee for Tulare met this evening along with the planning commission and gave our entire project approval with the zone changes and general plan amendment.  This is a real breakthrough to continue our progress.  Praise God.

Our New Church Aug 22

 We now have a color rendering of our new church.   You can see what it will look like.  The picture you see posted at the top is our proposed building and what will be visible as you stand on Cartmill and look to the south.  Thank you Jesus for a beautiful building!

Traffic/Biological Study

 This week the traffic and biological studies are being done.  This will take a few weeks to finish but is very important in the process of obtaining our zoning and permits with the city.  We want everything to stay on schedual for starting construction in November on the first senior building.

Land Dedication Service

 Sunday, July 18 we dedicated the land to the Lord.   We had a celebration service in our sanctuary and then concluded by meeting out at our new land where we will be building our future home.  It was fantastic!
